   Because most of what we make, we “cook to order,” two to three weeks is our usual Delivery Schedule . However, the reality is that most orders can ship within two weeks. (We would rather that you be pleasantly surprised, than bitterly disappointed.) There is a basic handling charge of $5.00 on all orders.
  To this is added:

Regular service - $8.50
Coast to coast has been taking 3 days.
NY metro area and Northeast 1-2 days

Overnite service - $33.00.

We customarily use the US Postal Service, and can use UPS or FedEx on request. .We will also ship on your shipping account, if you prefer.

   If you have a “special date” that must be met ... please call or e-mail to let us know. It is not impossible that the item you want is “on hand” or can be assembled quickly from parts "in house." We usually will ask you to give us permission to use faster service only if necessary.

   But, if we have to “move you to the front of the order book” and use overnight shipping, you’re going to have to pay for the expediting, as well as for the express charges. e.g. If you need the item made for shipment by the next day -- expect a 50% surcharge. If  “by the end of the week” (meaning two to three days in shop), 20-25% will most likely cover it.

   We will only impose the extra charge if it means putting you ahead of many other orders that have been waiting. if things are slow, we can probably meet most special dates without extra charge.

   So, call for a quote. If we can "do better” -- we will. We'd much rather have you save your money for more toys, than spend it with shipping companies.

The Guardian

    Regular postage is included in the price of a back issue of The SandMUtopian Guardian Magazine.  For larger orders, separate shipping charge is added.

Export Orders

    In addition to whatever the carrier charges, we tack on our regular $5.00 per shipment for handling ... packing materials, labor, customs forms, bookkeeping etc.

On average, shipment to Canada has been costing about $25

England and Europe about $30. - $45.
Africa, Asia and India: about $50.

 
   We prefer to use the postal services and usually use Express Mail for our international orders because of the tracking ability. If you like, ask for the tracking number and follow your package's progress online at www.usps.com

   Once we have delivered your parcel to a carrier you, the buyer, are responsible for all customs, taxation and any other legal issues in your own country. We will help you out as best we can with paperwork and labeling, but you will have to advise us of what your country’s requirements are if they are out of the ordinary.

   We can declare parcels as "toys,” “theatrical props” or “handicrafts” but sometimes have to specify more fully, but we do our best.  Because your shipment is insured and/or traceable, please don’t ask us to misrepresent the contents, or the insurance value of your shipment.

FYI: shipment by US mail is safe -- the goods get there. However, the US Postal Service does not trace parcels until 30 days after the shipment. Private express company may be easier to trace ... but more expensive!
