The
Scourge
The
original "Witch's Scourge" was used to shed the Coven
Master’s blood in European Pagan rituals, before the late 20th Century
influence of kinder, gentler “Wiccans” and “neo-Pagans” modified the practice.
In
its original form, this Scourge was made of symbolically multi-colored
tresses. The loop design was used so that the ends of the lashes could
be armed with glass, metal or ceramic disks to insure a copious flow of
the sacred fluid! We have substituted two compact “True Lovers’ Knots"
in each tress in the interests of Public Safety.
It
is a formidable implement for experienced players with a taste for extreme
suffering. The long French-whipped handle puts fearsome force behind looped
nylon tresses of varied thickness with a random pattern of compact True
Lover’s Knots. Standard tress pattern is “random Red and Black.” Purple
and Black or all Black are also available. It can also be made true vegan
on request.
