Pocket
Pal Telescoping Crop
This
riding Crop collapses like an old-fashioned radio antenna to fit any bag,
drawer or pocket. It has a plastic shaft with a neoprene slapper. (Vegans
take note.) A touch of color brightens the handle. Currently that color
is Blue.
The Pocket Pal
solves the biggest problem people have with riding crops: "Where
do I put it?" Crops are elegant and sophisticated, they've got a
nice long reach for pointing and posing, but they just don't fit easily
into toy bags and bedside tables. Put a riding crop in the umbrella stand
or guest-room closet and someone sooner or later is going to ask, in all
innocence, "Oh, do you ride ?" Unless you do go in for
equestrian exercise with four-legged horses
awk--ward !!
Flexible, fast and
whippy, this crop has a really superb action for fast tapping and medium
force smacking with the tip. But, a real full-armed thrashing --
NO! The shaft will not break
but it may "never
be quite the same" in regard to smooth and easy opening and closing.
(We feel-tested it in the shop.)
That taken into
account, the Telescoping Crop is not a toy or a novelty. It is
a superb instrument for light to medium use ... and it goes everywhere
-- discreetly.
