Imported Crop or Bat

    We searched the globe before deciding on this fine example of the crop and bat maker's art which can be offered at a reasonable price.

   This implement has a nicely braided leather handle, and a wide flapper ... more pleasing -- to the eye and to the skin. Its shorter length than a Crop makes it easier for the novice to control and for anyone using it in confined quarters, like a hotel bedroom or at home. With no wrist strap to get in the way, some call this model a "Bat." But ours is longer than the usual ones. Just not quite as long as the usual Crop. Should we call it a Crat? or is it a Bop?
